“WE” are a group of volunteers serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, veterans and experienced professionals who have come together to assist, train and advise potential international volunteer recruits for the army. The 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov announces that, from now on, it officially accepts internationals into its ranks.
The Azov Brigade is one of the most combat-ready units of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. For over 10 years, we have stood against the Russian Federation’s attempts to invade the free civilized world.
Serving in Azov is about modern military standards, professionalism, brotherhood, and mutual respect. Fighters from all around the world are already serving in our ranks, standing side by side with Ukrainians against the aggressor.

The International Legion for the Defence of Ukraine is a military unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces for foreign volunteers, formed in February 2022 by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. To join, individuals must be aged 18-60, physically and psychologically fit, have no criminal record, and be able to legally enter Ukraine. The Legion is equipped by the Ukrainian military, offers a 3-year contract (terminable after 6 months, excluding combat deployment), and provides compensation and benefits, including a \(15\) million UAH payout to the families of fallen soldiers.

3rd Separate Assault Brigade
The Third Separate Assault Brigade is a volunteer unit formed in the early days of the full-scale invasion. The founder is the first commander of the “Azov” regiment Andriy Biletskyi.
The Third Separate Assault Brigade was formed on the same principles on which the legendary “Azov” and the entire Azov movement are based. The foundation worldview principles of the Azovian units are Ukrainian-centrism, traditionalism, hierarchy and responsibility. After passing a difficult selection, only highly motivated and strong-spirited fighters, ready for constant improvement and tough battles with the enemy on the front line, enter our ranks.
